This course is designed to help move an aspiring entrepreneur into Action!

Running a business is challenging and complicated and many first-time businesses fail due to lack of structure and business planning.

This course will demonstrate:

  • how you can to turn that idea into an active business and
  • more importantly how to determine whether your ideas can be viable businesses.

 

The programme is a fast-paced interactive course which combines practical knowledge with real life insights into the T&T business landscape.

2: Marketing for Entrepreneurs & Startups

  • Defining your Customer & Market Research
  • Social Media and Digital Marketing
  • Traditional Marketing
  • Creating Value & Customer Service
  • Understanding your Market Research Data

 

3: Human Resource - Finding the Right Talent

  • Managing an ethical business
  • Business Psychology
  • Hiring the right People & Keeping them
  • Leadership

 

4: Finance

  • Valuation of your business.
  • Understanding & Reading Financial Documents.
    (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Tax, VAT & BIR.
  • Developing a Sales Strategy & Sales Funnel

 

NB - Group Project must handed in for Marking by the following Friday after 4th Class.

 

5: Presenting Your Business Plan - THE PITCH.

  • Tips on effectively pitching your business plan to investors.
  • Pitch session - where group pitches the fictional business to a panel.

 

Weekly Challenges:

There will be five (5) Weekly Challenges for candidates to hand in.

 

Final Project:

Students will be placed in groups and will be required to complete a final project. This final project will put the methodologies, tools, and insights learned to the test as students create and present a business plan and strategy for a fictional business.

 

Creditations

Certificate of Participation upon Successful Completion.
