Registration is a 2 step process:

  • Step 1: Registration with CTS
  • Step 2: Registration with the Ministry of Education (required for private candidates)


STEP 1: CTS Registration

To register with CTS, students are required to provide the following:

  • Tuition fee of TT$1000.00 per subject
  • One valid form of identification

Your CTS Registration Fee has been waived provided students register before September 9th.

NOTE: Students must register with CTS before they are allowed to undertake the classes.


STEP 2: Registration with the Ministry of Education

To sign up for exams in either the January or June exam sittings, students are required to do the following –

  • Complete the application form; should you require assistance in filling out your form feel free to ask any of our friendly CTS Staff whom will be happy to assist you.
  • Submit the completed CXC – CSEC Examination application form at your Preferred Centre Location where you wish to write the January 2014 examinations. The available Areas are identified below:

CTS Fees:

  • Registration: TT$0 if you register before September 8th
  • Tuition: TT$1000 per subject

Note: A payment plan is available to assist students who may not be able to pay their tuition fees in full at the start of the course.

Free, subject to the conditions listed below:

Conditions of Free Registration

  • As of January 2010 examinations, each candidate will be allowed two (2) free attempts as a private candidate.
  • Candidates registered as full-time students in a Secondary School will not be allowed use of any of these attempts unless he/she signs up as a private candidate.
  • Once the two (2) free attempts have been utilized the candidates are required to pay the Entry and Subject Fees and any other associated fees.
  • Candidates can use these two (2) free attempts in either the January or May/June Examinations. Failure to meet the above conditions then nationals will be required to pay the same fees as non-nationals as shown below.


  • Examination Fee - $150.00 TTD per subject
  • Late Entry Fees - $162.00 TTD (only applicable if your payment is after the deadline date stipulated by the Ministry of Education)
