Illustrator: COURSE STUDY TOPICS
Using the Illustrator tools, context menus, basic shape tools	Working with brushes
Drawing basic shapes, polygons, spirals, and stars	Transforming objects
Filling with color	Working with type
Stroking with color	Blending shapes and colours
Painting with patterns and gradients, pattern brush	Using appearance attributes, styles and effects
Drawing with the pen tool	Working with layers

Photoshop: COURSE STUDY TOPICS
Basic Photographic Correction	Working with Selections
Tools and Options	Working with Layers
Adjusting Colour in Photographs	Working with Masks
Resolution and Compression Primer	Retouching and Repairing

Students are required to complete a project or practical exam upon completion of the course. Students will receive a certificate of completion.

No books Required. CTS will provide all handouts for the programme.

There are no formal prerequisites, candidates are expected to be computer literate

Duration: 27 contact hours ( 9 x 3-hour sessions)
