ACTT 2011 QUITE Award Winners!

CTS College has done it!

CTS College of Business and Computer Science has excelled and achieved at the Quality in Tertiary Education (QUiTE) Awards hosted by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago. The College walked away with the following:

The significance of this award cannot be understated as we beat the likes of UTT, UWI, COSTAATT and all other private Tertiary Level Institutions (TLIs). It should be noted that CTS was the only private TLI to have won an award, therefore the victory is not just ours, but for all private TLIs.

The awards function was held at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) on November 18th and was hosted to institutions which demonstrated excellence in the implementation of Quality Management Systems, Student Support Services and Institutional Research Capacity.

CTS was prominently featured at the awards function which was hosted in conjunction with ACTT’s 1st National Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education with the theme “Promoting a Culture of Quality through Continuous Improvement of the Higher Education Sector”.

Since our inception in 1999 CTS has always valued our students and we always strive to provide education beyond academics. Throughout the years we have partnered with our many stakeholders including students, lecturers, ACTT, our staff and partner institutions to ensure quality education was being delivered…..we could not have done it without them! This achievement is certainly a rewarding and humbling experience, it is a significant milestone in the life of CTS College.

I would like to personally thank Ravi Johnson and Arnold Ramjitsingh for the many sacrifices they have made to ensure the document was timely, comprehensive, error-free, and award winning. Our gratitude to you is immeasurable. To everyone else who has contributed in various capacities we are also very thankful.  

As CTS College looks beyond the future, this milestone and achievement serves as a humble reminder that our students are our greatest asset and that the college takes pride in developing the minds of today’s and tomorrow’s leaders.
