CompTIA A+ certification validates foundation-level knowledge and skills necessary for a career in PC support. It is the starting point for a career. Exams:

Upon completion of the programme, students will be required to sit two(2) A+ Certification Examinations as follows:

  1. A+ Core Hardware Service Technician Exam 220-701
  2. A+ Core Operating Systems Technologies Exam 220-702

Both exams are multiple choices and are taken separately.

Exam Cost: Generally US168 per exam. Fees may vary slightly depending on the testing centre and exchange rate. CTS College is a testing Centre.

3. Toolkit

Prerequisities:

There are no formal prerequisites, however, it is recommended that the candidates have some have some experience with computers

Duration: 48 contact hours

Class Days (Three Optional): Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays

Class Time:

Weekday Classes: 5pm - 8pm (16 weeks) - Mondays OR Wednesdays

Weekend Classes: 8:15am - 11:15am (16 weeks) - Saturdays
