Marketing Management (HRM) targets the area of practical application of marketing techniques and the management of a firm's marketing resources and activities. Topics range from Introduction to Marketing to Marketing Policy Planning and Communication to Principles of Marketing and much more. Students successful at the ABE Marketing Management Diploma Level 6 can gain immediate entry into the Final Year of the following degree programmes offered by CTS:

NB: Work experience required for the MBA route.

 

There are three stages (levels) in the ABE Programme. See below:

The Subject Guide was developed to help students choose the subjects based on when they are being offered. The guide shows the three different Diploma Levels and the subjects that are offered in each semester. The Subject Guide also shows if a subject is offered on a Saturday or during the week. Students can now choose their modules for the full academic year based on the Subject Guide.

At the end of each module, students are required to sit an exam which will be marked out of 100%. There are two (2) examination periods each year:

  • June (typically starting the 1st week of June)
  • December (typically starting the 1st week of December)

 

Candidates will be marked out of 100 and will be graded based on the following Grading Scheme

C 40% - 49% Pass
D 30% - 39% Marginal Fail
E 15% - 29% Fail
F 0% - 14% Unclassified

Candidates achieving a pass grade (C or above) will be awarded the appropriate QCF credits.

NB: Please note that GATE entry requirements may vary as the following entry requirements are specific to ABE.

  • No formal prerequisite
Diploma Level 5 in Marketing Management
  • ABE Certificate Level or Diploma Level 4 (at least 3 modules passed) OR
  • Two 'A' Level passes OR
  • At least 2 years work experience. A reference letter from employer(s) must accompany such applications OR
  • Qualifications which may be accepted by ABE as being equivalent to the above
Diploma Level 6 in Marketing Management
  • ABE Diploma Level 5 OR
  • A UK Degree or equivalent OR
  • Other recognized qualifications of approved Institutes of Higher Education

The overall cost of the programme includes payments to both CTS (for registration and tuition) and to ABE (for registration, annual subscription and exams). This information is provided below.

 

Payments to ABE

Students are only required to register once with ABE and each year after registering they are required to pay their annual subscription fee. Exam fees are also included in the table below:

Payments to CTS

Registration Fee:
CTS registration fee is $200.00 per semester.

 

Tuition Fee:
If a student does not qualify for GATE funding they will be required to pay tuition. Please liaise with the Administration Office for a full list of tuition fees and payment plan.

Registration is a two step process:

1. Registration with ABE

2. Registration with CTS

 

Registering with ABE

To register with ABE, you will need to complete the ABE Registration Form (available at the CTS Administration Officer or on ABE's website) and return this to the front desk along with your ABE Bank Draft (or you may pay via credit card).

Students should be aware of the closing dates for registration and examinations as these are strictly adhered to.

 

Registration with CTS

  1. Registration Fee of $200.00 per semester.
  2. Three copies of one form of Identification (passport, identification card, birth certificate)
  3. Must be 16 years or older and four O' levels inclusive of English

 

Mature Entry

  1. Must be 21 years or older, two (2) years working experience and completed secondary school education.
For both Normal Entry and Mature Entry candidates must walk with proof of qualifications
  1. Registration Fee of $200.00 per semester.
  2. One form of Identification (passport, identification card, drivers permit, birth certificate).
Diploma Level 5 in Marketing Management Normal Entry
  1. Registration Fee of $200.00 per semester.
  2. Three copies of one form of Identification (passport, identification card, birth certificate)
  3. ABE Certificate or Candidate must be 18 years or older, and have two (2) A' Level passes.

 

Mature Entry

  1. Candidate must be 21 years or older with four (4) O' Levels passes inclusive of Mathematics/Accounts and English, and two (2) years working experience. OR
  2. Candidate must be 25 years or older with three (3) years working experience and four (4) O' Level passes inclusive of English.
For both Normal and Mature Entry, candidates must walk with proof of qualifications
Normal Entry
  1. Registration Fee of $200.00 per semester.
  2. Three copies of one form of Identification (passport, identification card, birth certificate).
  3. ABE Certificate or Candidate must be 18 years or older, and have two (2) A' Level passes.

 

Mature Entry

  1. Candidate must be 21 years or older with two (2) years working experience.
For both Normal and Mature Entry, candidates must walk with proof of qualifications
Diploma Level 6 in Marketing Management Normal Entry
  1. Registration Fee of $200.00 per semester.
