The MBA specialising in Marketing Management prepares students for management careers in the field. It focuses on marketing skills, strategies, tools and best practices used in successful companies. Most organizations require adept marketing professionals and this MBA increases the number of opportunities for students and graduates.
The MBA in Marketing Management increases the knowledge and enhances the skills of those working in the field. It aims at producing expert graduates who are able to understand, develop and implement sophisticated marketing decisions at managerial and executive levels.
Students may complete the MBA within a minimum of 12 months and a maximum 3 years. Students who do not complete the programme by 31 October 2019, will only be able to finish their studies online.
Applicants must choose the course they wish to undertake before submitting their application to CTS. Students pursuing the MBA in Marketing Management are required to complete 7 core subjects, 4 specialisation subjects and a final project.

Applicants who wish to undertake the MBA course, must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria for the first stage of the course, namely the Graduate Certificate in Management. The applicant must have ONE of the following:
A BACHELOR'S DEGREE
A Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) and at least 2 years relevant work experience
AN ADVANCED DIPLOMA
An Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree (AQF Level 6) or learning equivalent to an AQF Level 6 qualification and at least 3 years relevant work experience
MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, which includes at least 3 years middle to senior management experience or significant technical experience
Alternatively, applicants may get direct entry into the MBA, if they have ONE of the following:
A Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent in business/commerce or related discipline and at least 3 years relevant work experience
A Bachelor Honours degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma (AQF Level 8) or equivalent in any discipline and at least 3 years relevant work experience
