PURPOSE [Top]

The CXC and GCE courses fall under the umbrella of our academic courses. CTSCBCS offers tuition for a range of subjects. The courses run for the duration of four months (September to December). Our courses are past paper intensive giving each student maximum exposure to past examination papers.

TARGET AUDIENCE [Top]

Students who are repeaters of the course wishing to improve their grade.

Students who are in form 5 and wish to get a glimpse of what to expect at the June exams.

REGISTERING FOR THE EXAMS [Top]

Apart from enrolling at CTSCBCS for tuition, students will need to register for the exams separately. This process may vary depending on the examination body (CXC or GCE) you are enrolling with.

The fees indicated above represent tuition fees only and are payable to CTSCBCS. To write the examination, students must register for the examination with the Ministry of Education (for CXC courses) or Upper Level Educational Institute (for GCE courses).

Registration forms are available at CTS or at the Ministry of Education (CXC) or Upper Level (GCE).

CXC REGISTRATION FEES (Approx.) - From August to 1st Week in September :

Registration: $87 Subject Fee: $90 (per subject)

Other Fees: $8

GCE REGISTRATION FEES (Approx.):

Registration: GBP 14 Subject Fee: GBP 24 (per subject)

Other Fees: GBP 10 (for Computer Science only)
