Never thought you had the talent or the skill? Now is your chance to do it like the pros and join the growing number of homeowners who decorate their own homes at a fraction of the cost. Why hire that interior decorator when you can Do It Yourself?


Interior decorating refers to the art and science of making an interior space more aesthetically pleasing and functionally useful for its inhabitants. The Mastering Interior Design course has been designed to provide you with the professional skills required to succeed as an interior designer. This course offers you a unique opportunity to develop a full or part time career as an interior designer or to use your skills as a profitable sideline.

  • Decorating around the tile-work
  • Three great looks for the bathroom walls.

Tools and Attire

Dress code:

  • Closed toe shoes (flat)
  • Clear safety glasses
  • Long pants
  • No sleeveless clothing

  • Pencils (2b, 4b)
  • Black ink pens
  • Letter size Manilla Folders (4)
  • Letter size Type Sheets
  • Eraser
  • Sharpener
  • A Ruler


Exams and Assessments

Students will be assessed according to each practical. The practical assignments include decorating the following rooms:

  • The Living Room
  • Dining Room
  • Kitchen
  • Kids Room
  • Bathroom
  • Family Room

The course is offered on weekdays on Mondays and Wednesdays

The Facilitator

Mrs. Gail Corridon is a seasoned decorator and designer with over twenty-five (25) years' experience in the field. She'll take a good idea and transform it into a living breathing entity, from creative concept through to execution. She uses design and décor to engage, empower and educate across space. She challenges herself to explore with every project by setting new limits by designing things that matter.


Gail has completed programmes in Interior Decorating with the University of the West Indies, and the Academy of Designing, where she received an award for excellence and outstanding performance.


Gail is multi-disciplined as well having studied counselling and early childhood education.
